Woven Pot of Garlic Gourd

Our stunning Garlic Gourd Shaped Baskets bring a comforting sense of organic texture and craftsmanship to any interior. These decorative woven baskets are handcrafted in small batches by women of the Tonga tribe who live and work in the Binga district of Zimbabwe. No two garlic squash baskets are alike - each is a work of art in its own right.

With an undulating surface and bulbous teardrop shape, these baskets are woven from Ilala palm - a material native to Zimbabwe as well as South Africa and Madagascar. Use yours as a large woven vase for dried flowers and tall grasses, display them in a group or let this incredible decorative basket speak for itself and stand alone.
