What is the return policy?

While we are unable to accept returns or exchanges, customers are encouraged to inspect all items at the time of delivery or purchase. For shipped orders, please notify us promptly of any damage so the delivery company can contact The Industrial Cottage and we can discuss a replacement. In-person purchases should be inspected prior to purchase.
What are your hours?


We are open to the general public one weekend each month, typically the first weekend of the month. During the remainder of the month, we are open exclusively to our Trade Members. Be sure to check our event calendar or follow us on social media for specific dates and hours each month!
What is Rowe Custom Upholstery?

Rowe Custom Upholstery is a furniture company that specializes in high-quality, custom-made upholstered pieces. We are proud to carry their products, all of which are manufactured in Elliston, Virginia.

We offer a large selection of Rowe pieces in our showroom that are available for purchase. If you’re interested in designing your own custom furniture, we also have hundreds of fabric options to choose from right here in-store.

For customers interested in creating a custom Rowe piece, we offer personalized appointments. During your appointment, we’ll walk you through the product details and options, help you select the right style and fabric, and assist you every step of the way. When will I get my order?

If you chose to pick up your order, you have two weeks to pick up your furniture. Pickup hours are Monday–Friday from 9:00am–4:00pm. Please note our warehouse team takes scheduled breaks from 10:00–10:15am, 12:00–12:30pm (lunch), and 2:00–2:15pm, so there may be short wait times during those windows.

If you selected delivery, you should hear from our delivery crew within 2–3 days to schedule your drop-off. If you have not been contacted within that timeframe, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Where are your products manufactured?


Most of our furniture and accessories are manufactured overseas through trusted and respected craftsmen we have carefully partnered with. All Furniture Classics pieces are made from solid wood and quality materials and are thoughtfully built to become heirloom-quality pieces.

The Rowe Upholstery is manufactured in Elliston, Virginia.
Can I return my furniture or accessories if I don't like them once I get home?


All sales are final, and we do not accept returns on furniture or home accessories. We kindly ask that you carefully inspect all items before completing your purchase to ensure you’re completely happy with your selection.
How much does shipping cost?

Local delivery in the "Seven Cities of Hampton Roads" ( Suffolk, Virginia beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton, & Newport News ) cost $345 for up to 7 furniture pieces.

All deliveries outside of the "Seven Cities" cost $425 for up to 7 Furniture pieces.
